Announcing AWS Outposts third-party storage integration with Dell and HPE

AWS News Blog

AWS has expanded its AWS Outposts third-party storage integration program to include Dell PowerStore and HPE Alletra Storage MP B10000 systems, enhancing hybrid cloud storage options for customers.

  • Supports data and boot volumes with two boot methods: iSCSI SANboot and Localboot
  • Compatible with both Outposts 2U servers and first/second-generation Outposts racks
  • Enables customers to use existing storage infrastructure during cloud migration
  • Supports Windows Server 2022 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 with AWS-verified AMIs
  • No additional charge in all AWS Regions where Outposts is supported

This integration provides more flexibility for enterprises managing hybrid cloud environments, allowing them to maintain data residency and seamlessly transition workloads.
