This article announces the availability of the LagStatus CloudWatch metric for AWS Outposts racks across all commercial AWS Regions and GovCloud regions.
- LagStatus metric monitors Outposts LAG connectivity status directly in CloudWatch
- Eliminates need for external networking tools or cross-team coordination
- Metric value "1" indicates LAG is up; "0" indicates LAG is down
- Enables setting alarms and troubleshooting connectivity issues
- Combined with VifConnectionStatus and VifBgpSessionState metrics for comprehensive diagnostics
- Available for all Outposts LAGs in supported regions
The LagStatus metric simplifies network observability for AWS Outposts by providing direct CloudWatch integration for LAG connectivity monitoring.
