New: Enhanced AssetState dimension for AWS Outposts capacity metrics on Amazon CloudWatch

AWS Outposts capacity metrics now include an enhanced AssetState dimension in CloudWatch to distinguish between Active, Isolated, and Retiring hardware states for improved capacity monitoring.
- New AssetState dimension groups existing CloudWatch metrics with values: Active, Isolated, or Retiring
- Active indicates production-ready Outposts; Isolated means temporarily offline for maintenance; Retiring indicates unavailable compute assets
- Enables accurate capacity counts by surfacing hardware state transitions previously hidden from customer metrics
- Supports creation of precise CloudWatch alarms based on specific capacity status changes
- Fully integrated with CloudWatch on Outposts for local infrastructure monitoring
- Available by default at no additional cost across all AWS Regions offering Outposts
This enhancement provides AWS Outposts customers with real-time visibility into hardware states, enabling accurate capacity monitoring and more targeted alerting for mission-critical workloads.
